How to Earn More as an Amazon Associate

The proper end of cycle buying keywords plus giving your traffic what they are looking for will help you to earn more as an Amazon associate. Product selection is critical in all marketing, and that includes promoting Amazon products.
You should carefully weigh whether or not you want to market expensive or less expensive products. You can find quite a few people state they are unhappy with the percentage that Amazon pays their affiliates. Getting a few % on a $20 book doesn't work for many. Some of the associates tend to completely ignore the small ticket items not knowing what kind of benefit lies in it. The thing about it is that if your marketing is good with excellent traffic, then those little numbers can turn into something noticeable. The key to success with Amazon is to understand the fact that it's a well known brand and has products that a wide variety of people will be interested in. As far as what you choose to market from Amazon, your best bet is to find highly specific guidance on that one. If it is any consolation, the less expensive items can ride on a higher payout level. If you are able to produce a higher volume of sales, then you can move into a higher payout tier. One Amazon affiliate strategy that's not taken advantage of very often is marketing new products that customers can pre-order before they're actually available. Even though this doesn't happen for all the products, it does occur for a significant number of products where Amazon will create pages for these new products, even before they're available for purchase. So whenever you're posting about a new product, make sure you check Amazon first to see if there has been a page that's already created for that product. Then you can write about this product on your blog or website and tell people that Amazon lets people pre-order it.
While Amazon is mainly known for less expensive items such as books and CDs, you can also promote much more expensive products to increase your earnings. Even though they don't convert as well as the cheaper, low ticket items, they can give you a big revenue boost when they actually convert. So if you're selling a product that costs several thousand dollars, you'd be able to receive hundreds of dollars in commission, even though the commission is not much.
You can succeed with Amazon Associate program, but it will take dedicated effort and a good deal of patience. It really does not matter if you are lacking in experience, but just know that means you have a lot of work to do. There is a learning curve, but there is a lot of solid information out there about this.
