The focus of the course focuses on the support and administration for NetApp storage systems running Data ONTAP 8.1 7-fashion. The training is also suitable for preparation for certification as a NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator (NCDA) .

To introduce the students to learn more about the components of a NetApp storage environment as well as their installation and configuration. As part of the key focus "administration of a storage system," students learn the physical and logical storage to configure a storage system. In addition, the fast lane coaches an insight into the virtualization technologies of Data ONTAP 7-fashion. Also dealt with topics such as client records and Snapshot copies in Data ONTAP. Furthermore, there is disk space management and various backup and recovery activities in the curriculum of the course.
